AI Genomics Company, NRGene, Completes Initial Public Offering on Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and Raises NIS 100 Million (~US$30 Million)
NESS ZIONA, Israel & SAN DIEGO & SASKATOON, Saskatchewan–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AI—NRGene (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: NRGN), an AI based genomic company operating in the agricultural and livestock industry, announced today that it has successfully completed its initial public offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). NRGene raised ~NIS 100 Million (~US$30 Million), with a post-money valuation of circa NIS 370 Million (~NIS 420 Million on a fully diluted basis). Leading institutional entities in the Israeli market have invested in the current IPO.

NRGene launched its AI technology in 2015, and endeavors to increase its revenues by 150%-250% during the next two years. NRGene’s business model, which is now expanding, was mainly based on long-term agreements with large industrial and agricultural companies. These companies adopted NRGene’s technology based on a subscription model to use its cloud software and services.
During 2020 NRGene adopted a new business model of joint IP development with its customers, in return for royalties from the sales of the co-developed products. NRGene has already signed several royalties-based agreements for the development and sale of seeds of maize, rice, chili pepper and tomatoes.
