Joe Manning, Chief Marketing and Technology Officer at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties, has been recognized by HousingWire as a 2021 Marketing Leader. Manning looks at challenges as opportunities to grow. Even his current title of Chief Marketing Technology Officer came from the idea of trying to be of as much service as possible. He acts as an extension of his customers, his leaders, and the brand he represents. Manning leads a team of marketers, designers, communicators, and technology support staff, to which he has coined the term “MarTech.” In addition to agent success tools, he has also doubled down on client security and encryption. “When the client is pleased, the agents are too,” explains Manning. The past year has been a rollercoaster, but under his guidance, his team had four times the average pace of product launches and initiatives.

This included the launch of a branded merchandise online store with proceeds benefiting the Drysdale Community Foundation, which powers charity organizations that serve our local communities. It also involved launching virtual one-on-one sessions on all things marketing and tech, ensuring everyone is getting the personalized support they need even remotely.
