McLean joins company in the wake of 10X revenue growth driven by booming demand for its remote patient management solution
BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Current Health today announced that it has appointed John McLean as its Chief Growth & Chief Financial Officer. McLean will provide strategic and financial leadership to support Current Health’s efforts to scale its remote patient management (RPM) technology and enable better, more proactive healthcare delivery worldwide.
McLean joins Current Health from Kyruus, a provider of search and scheduling solutions that help hospitals and health systems match patients with the providers best suited to care for them. As CFO of Kyruus, McLean led the company through its Series C and D fundraising efforts. He was also instrumental in the company’s strategic partnerships with world class organizations including, but not limited to, Salesforce, IBM, Uber and Microsoft. Before Kyruus, McLean served as CFO at Best Doctors (acquired by Teladoc in 2017), where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s worldwide financial operations and driving strategic projects to improve financial performance.
“John’s proven financial leadership and experience working in the healthcare technology industry are ideally suited to Current Health,” said Christopher McCann, CEO and Co-Founder, Current Health. “As we embark on our next phase of growth, John’s financial stewardship will be critical to our successful expansion. We feel lucky to have him as a senior leader on our growing team.”
In the past four months, Current Health has tripled its customer base and grown its revenue by 10X.
“Current Health is at a pivotal point in its growth,” began McLean. “As providers are looking to deliver care outside the four walls of the hospital, Current Health is uniquely positioned to help execute that strategy. Chris and his team have brought to market a solution that is proving to be indispensable for healthcare providers – now more than ever. I am thrilled to be joining such an amazing company and eager to help catapult its growth trajectory.”
