Horizon Investments Announces Two Promotions Within Its Investment Management Team
Clark Allen named Director, Quantitative Research and Dzhan Yusnyu promoted to Senior Analyst
CHARLOTTE, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Horizon Investments, LLC, is today announcing two key promotions within the ranks of its investment management team. Clark Allen has been promoted to Director, Quantitative Research; while Dzhan Yusnyu was promoted to Senior Analyst.
Mr. Allen has been part of the Horizon team since 2019, most recently as Quantitative Researcher. In his new role, he will be responsible for development and implementation of systematic processes across a broad range of strategies managed by Horizon. The role is technical in nature, requiring understanding of multiple scientific and data science-focused software programs, while also incorporating Mr. Allen’s background in finance and economics. Mr. Allen holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Allen also holds a Master of Accountancy and BS in Accounting from Georgia Southern University.

Mr. Yusnyu has been part of the Horizon team since 2020, joining the firm as an analyst. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting portfolio implementation decisions across a broad range of strategies managed by Horizon. This includes macroeconomic research to add to the team’s overall understanding of economic and market conditions, as well as evaluating various products and methods to aid in the expression of these views across strategies. Mr. Yusnyu graduated the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in History.
